At this World of Wortkraft, playwrights from here and from all over Germany compete against each other. The audience is the jury.

The Dichterschlacht is poetry slam, and poetry slam is literature without filters: short texts performed live, sometimes funny, sometimes gentle, always direct. At this World of Wortkraft, stage authors from here and from all over Germany compete against each other. The whole thing is interactive: only those who win points and applause from the audience can leave the stage as the winner.

Come on: at the poetry battle, poetry is bite-sized and comedy is not stupid. Between cabaret, poetry garlands and spoken pamphlets, everything is included. This time with Uli Höhmann, Luca Swieter, Jan Schmidt and Nora Solcher, among others. Presented by Finn Holitzka.
