A singing teacher is convicted of the alleged "lust murder" of his pupil and develops delusions in prison in which he believes he recognizes his pupil in an ant. This surreal work, a mixture of crime thriller, farce, tragedy, courtroom drama and burlesque by composer Peter Ronnefeld, who died young, accompanies its protagonist's mental state with rapid stylistic changes, parody and grotesque tragedy. One question remains unanswered: Who killed the ant?
