Opening: Saturday, February 14, 2026

"The Other Side of the Night" is dedicated to dreaming as an alternative world. While definitions of terms that have shaped Western thinking since the Enlightenment are undergoing rapid change in the digital and post-factual age, the dichotomies of light and dark, reality and fiction, waking and dreaming also seem to be eroding. The exhibition is an invitation to renegotiate the archaic moment of sleep, which accounts for a third of human life, as a personal and social value. "The Other Side of the Night" explores the resistant potential of dreams, which bring the body and the emotional world together in the dark: a practice of withdrawing and connecting, in which one surrenders to the unknown, the difficult to control subconscious.

With works by seven contemporary artists and a participatory "Nap Room", the exhibition shows the individual and collective power that can be drawn from dreaming in the present. The exhibition will be accompanied by a diverse and in-depth supporting program.
