Die Distel: The SchMERZtherapie
Cabaret theater from Berlin
What have the voters allowed themselves again? With this result, are we supposed to govern with stability? To form a coalition? Or are we just going to have another verbal duel?
The culture of debate has long been at a low point. How long can this go on? In Germany, forming coalitions has become a nightmare. But opposition is also crap. A seminar is needed. Team building, as it's called in the new German language: trust exercises, confrontations, building bridges. Three MPs are the first to undergo pain therapy.
Confused MPs search for majorities, overburdened office staff confront their bosses, even the new chancellor drops by and practises anger management. Until the therapy robot gives up and burns out. One realization remains: Dream and trauma lie close together, because there is a bit of Merz in every pain.
On stage: Samia Dauenhauer, Timo Doleys, Jens Eulenberger.
