Die Entführung der Amygdala

In the organizer's words:

In "THE ABDUCTION OF AMYGDALA", a woman breaks a taboo: after an accident and apparent amnesia, she decides to take on a new identity. Beyond her role as mother and wife, she searches for a new place. She sets off on a journey, perhaps to another universe.
Theaterhaus Jena is a guest of ZwischenStücke. ZwischenStücke is a cooperation between the Mülheim Theatre Days and the Theater an der Ruhr.

It starts with a bang. The head bounces on the hood and the patriarchy shreds out of her skull. Enter Amygdala: she forgets that she is a mother, forgets her children, her husband, the loan, the glass ceiling that she simply can't break through after her parental leave, the cost of living that exceeds her income, the parents in need of care, the struggle, leaves it all behind, all at once. But can you - can you really?
