Shining forms rise from the primordial sea, plants entwine through the church interior and bear magnificent blossoms. Planets and stars - the universe emerges in the church sky. Then the image changes and we land on earth, at the bottom of the ocean: colorful schools of fish cavort in the coral reef, majestic whales drift leisurely through the nave...
The 30-minute immersive light and video show GENESIS tells the story of creation in fascinating images set to music - from the first rays of light to the creation of mankind. The walls and vaults of St. Peter's Church in Nuremberg become a canvas for the visually stunning 360° animations. Columns begin to rotate, the roof seems to disappear as if by magic. An invitation to marvel and immerse yourself in light, sound and powerful images.

Extraordinary concerts will take place on several selected dates as part of the illumination: At the Special Nights, a 45-minute long version of the show will be shown, accompanied by local musicians performing their own program live, precisely matched to the visual content of the light show.
