What lifts the spirits more than beautiful opera voices in the Italian repertoire? This evening features classics from the country where opera was invented. From the virtuosity of the bel canto style, shaped by composers such as Rossini, Bellini and Donizetti, to the great emotions of verismo, Puccini and contemporaries, there is something for opera lovers and newcomers alike. Under the direction of First Kapellmeister Henning Ehlert, the ensemble members of the Musiktheater accompanied by the Münster Symphony Orchestra offer a program of musical opera highlights.
