Make a small wooden figure yourself - but how? Sculptor Sarah Hillebrecht and artist Christian Przygodda will show you how. Over the course of ten evenings, you will be guided step by step from design to realization without having to follow a standard program. You can realize your own individual project and follow your personal interests and ideas. All work steps are supervised individually. The group will be introduced to the technique of hand carving, the tools and a foundation in materials science. In addition, knowledge of the methodical work process from the sketch to the finished sculpture is imparted, and all figures are finally colored with acrylic paint. The dual supervision offers plenty of scope to support each participant individually in the creation of different sketch views and outline templates. You will learn tricks from the bag of a sculptor as well as from the bag of a painter and how to combine them. Wood, paints and tools are provided, so all you need is some work clothes. If you like, you can also bring your own materials and tools.
