When and where do I shop? Which means of transportation do I use to navigate through the week and how much time do I actually spend planning my life? As part of the international puppet theater festival Fidena, the open workshop invites you to playfully question your own everyday life with the help of objects and recycled materials.
The open workshop by the Velbert-based collective Armada Theater is aimed at anyone aged 10 and over. No prior registration is required: you can come and go as you please.
The event is part of the international puppet theater festival Fidena, which presents a total of 28 events in Bochum, Herne, Essen, Recklinghausen, Gelsenkirchen and Wuppertal from 13 to 21 May 2026. An overview of the complete program can be found in the PDF for download. With the aim of making the art of puppet, figure and object theater visible, preserving it and developing it further, the German Forum for Puppet Theater and Puppetry Art has been bringing outstanding productions from all over the world to the Ruhr region with its biennial festival since 1958.
The workshop "The Logistics of My Everyday Life" is part of the festival's special program "On the On-the-Going of Things". The special program is funded by the German Federal Cultural Foundation, the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media, the Zollverein Foundation, the City of Bochum, the City of Herne, the Alfred and Cläre Pott Foundation and the Kemnader Kreis.
