Cornelius Pollmer's guests: politician Philipp Amthor & presenter Tessniem Kadiri

What is it like to be a young person entering top politics or journalism when the "good old days" are finally over? What does it even mean to work in a society that is so fixated on its past? And what exactly is this Germany that everyone keeps talking about?

In the eighth edition of the news show, Cornelius Pollmer has invited politician Philipp Amthor and presenter Tessniem Kadiri to discuss the future and other problem areas.

• Philipp Amthor, born in 1992 in Ueckermünde, has been Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister for Digital and State Modernization since 2025. He is a member of the German Bundestag and is the Members' Representative of the CDU Germany.

• Tessniem Kadiri, born in Duisburg in 2001, presents the reportage program Weltspiegel on German TV channel Erste. Medium Magazin voted her one of the "Top 30 to 30" most promising young journalists in Germany in 2024.
