Embark on an exciting journey through urban music and dance history!

"Die Zeitreise" takes the audience on an artistic journey of discovery from the 1930s to the present day and shows the development of urban music and dance culture in all its facets.

Under the artistic direction of Nadine Catalano, also known as LaDina - an active dancer, dance teacher and influential personality in the urban scene for over 20 years - over 40 performers present an impressive and varied stage performance. Numerous cultural workers and artists from the urban scene, especially well-known faces from Mannheim, come together here and at the same time convey cultural education through the authentic presentation of the art forms - urban dances and the musical development that has shaped these types of dance.

The performance will be accompanied by live music played by well-known musicians and Pop Academy graduates. Together with well-known crews, urban dance schools and the connection of different generations in urban facilities, they bring all elements and styles to life. Rap pioneer Toni L leads through the evening and gives the piece a special depth.

Since its premiere in 2011, "Die Zeitreise" has been thrilling audiences with sold-out performances. Since then, the play has been reworked twice and adapted to the present day. All the familiar faces of the urban scene are still together on stage.
