Digital Carbs:

Songs between dream and reality, between intimacy and alienation, between gray mining towns and a society fat on digital carbs. From the solo beginnings of bassist and singer Johannes Rest, DIGITAL CARBS has developed into an insider tip on the Munich alt-rock scene. After their last release at the end of 2023, the band wasted no time in starting production on their new EP "Floods".

In terms of sound, the band's new work is more dynamic than ever: from gloomy, beautiful acoustic ballads to manic, driving guitar storms, the musicians stop at nothing. The explosive opening track "Telescope" is the latter - and a critique of the destruction of our planet due to pure greed for profit. With vivid lines such as "My machines, they eat love", the band paints a dystopian world in which humanity falls by the wayside.
But personal themes are not neglected on the EP either. Destructive patterns of behavior, a feeling of alienation in the midst of a seemingly perfect world, our omnipresent fears and insecurities. What if the rain never stops? If we never find the strength to break out of our inner struggles? DIGITAL CARBS once again prove their versatility and their ability to transform deep emotions into stirring music. Their new EP "Floods" was released on September 13, 2024.

Atomic Fruit:

The Berlin band Atomic Fruit combines dreamy, psychedelic rock with electronic beats and thrilling soundscapes. The band, whose members hail from Sweden, France and Italy, formed in 2021 after a chance meeting at a SUUNS concert and their energetic live shows quickly became a popular act in Berlin's underground scene. Their debut album Play Dough, recorded at the legendary Hansa Studios in 2023, brought their eclectic mix of synthesizers, guitars, trumpet, samples and electro-acoustic percussion to the attention of an international audience.

In 2024, they returned to the studio to record their second album
Sketches of the Moon themselves. They experimented with original sounds and arrangements inspired by noise and electronic music. The result: a record that translates their international identity into a fascinating panorama. With the help of electronic effects, pitch-shifted vocals, echoing baritone guitars - and even the metallic sound of a tarte flambée shovel - Atomic Fruit create an intimate atmosphere all of their own. The lyrics of Sketches of the Moon are honest and haunting, as in songs like Once and Tongue Tied, which evoke a certain restlessness. Released in February 2025, the album captures song after song the complexity and simplicity of life, where every moment seems eternal while the past seems like a surreal, fading dream. From the laid-back desert blues of Sure, to the nostalgic tape sounds of the title track, to the crunchy modern-lovers aesthetic of Get Along, each track brings together different memories and genres.
