Exhibition 'WERDE ZWEITZEUG*IN' by ZWEITZEUGEN e.V. and presentation of project work by the
pupils of the Pieschen secondary school
The banner exhibition 'WERDE ZWEITZEUG*IN' will be on display. The exhibition is aimed at young people
people aged 12 and over and invites them to get to know (survival) life stories in depth, develop their own
positions and to act as second witnesses across generations against
anti-Semitism and for democratic coexistence.
The event was based on a project day and a project week in summer and fall 2025
under the guidance of artists on the history of the Gohle factory and Henny Brenner from
Zentralwerk e.V. in collaboration with the Oberschule Pieschen (Matzkestrasse) and Coloradio
Young Radio. As part of the exhibition, the results of the project week
'DIENEUn - work against injustice' and the project day 'UNRUHEWELLEN - ein Henny
Brenner Day' will be presented.

that the era of National Socialism must "never be repeated", while at the same time the number of
of anti-Semitic incidents in Germany, including in schools. What is demanded of remembrance
and can lessons succeed in creating approaches to the past that provide enough space
to orient oneself?
