On Thursday, October 2, 2025 , the second DIVErsity IN Bottrop Festival ( DIVE IN Festival for short ) will take place in the extraordinary conference and event hall of the ELORIA Erlebnisfabrik:

The festival offers a platform for migrant, BIPoC and LGBTQIA+ communities to make their experiences, perspectives and life realities visible.

It is about sharing stories, perspectives and art that show how diverse life is here. These voices help shape the Ruhr region today and open up new spaces for encounters, exchange and change.

In addition to comedy and a live musical program by local artists from the Ruhr region and the surrounding area, you can expect interactive hands-on activities and the continuation of the photo exhibition "Kök-Pop", which illustrates the influences of post-migrant pop culture from the perspective of Bottrop Courage students.

In the ELORIA - Bar & Lounge or in the ZECHENTREFF event beer garden, you can immerse yourself further in the topics over drinks and food (also vegan) and engage in discussions together. The adjoining outdoor terrace with comfortable seating is also free to use.

Access to the festival is barrier-free (elevator available).
