The trio Dlina Volny, which once formed in Minsk, Belarus, is now based in Warsaw and London. The band builds a musical bridge between Eastern European post-punk and Western dark wave, creating an atmospheric, introspective sound carried by haunting vocals that feels both nostalgically familiar and distinctly modern. Their debut album "Dazed" LP, released on Italians Do It Better in 2021, was mixed by Dean Hurley, best known for his soundtrack work for David Lynch, and mastered by Mike Bozzi, who has worked with Kendrik Lamar and Childish Gambino.
Dlina Volny have since made a name for themselves in Europe, the UK and Mexico. They have performed at festivals such as ESNS, Kalabalik på Tyrolen and Grauzone, and in 2023 they also made a guest appearance in Dresden. Their new LP "In Between" was released on August 8, 2025 on Italians Do Better and features a darker and more self-confident sound that combines elements of dark pop, EBM and cold wave.
