The Harbour Front Literature Festival is looking forward to Donna Leon - one of the most widely read crime writers of our time and literary chronicler of Venice. About the author:

Donna Leon, born in New Jersey in 1942, has worked as a tour guide in Rome, a copywriter in London and as a lecturer in Iran, China and Saudi Arabia. Her Commissario Brunetti novels made her world-famous. She now lives in Switzerland - and is still a regular visitor to Venice, her home of many years.
