The Ottersberg OpenEarsChoir was a guest in Hamburg-Bergedorf last year and met the choir 'Schall und Rauch' there. They put on a great concert together and quickly agreed that they should meet again.
'Schall & Rauch' is a lively choir from Hamburg-Bergedorf. At first glance, the name may seem to have no deeper meaning, but it reflects the understatement and informality of the choir members. With a colorful mix of around 45 singers aged between 38 and 80, the choir brings a variety of musical styles to life, from pop and folk to African choral music and swing.

The passion and joy they feel when singing is clearly evident in their performances, whether a cappella or accompanied on the piano. Under the musical direction of Sabine Franke, they perform rousing concerts in various venues, from churches to cultural centers and choir festivals.
The OpenEarsChor is a group of 30 singers led by the lively choirmaster Holger Lechterbeck. The choir from Ottersberg has already made a name for itself with various performances in Ottersberg, Fischerhude, Rotenburg, Sottrum, Bremen and the Achimer Kasch. With a mix of soul, jazz, pop and gospel, the choir knows how to inspire the audience. The focus for everyone is on the fun of singing and the choir always succeeds in making the audience jump for joy.
