On 14.10.2025, a double crime reading will take place at the Hafenbahnhof. The two authors Christi Beck and Marit Wildt will each read from their books.

CHRISTI BECK: The Five Commandments of Konstantin K. (A whodunit crime comedy from Hamburg-Eimsbüttel)

Konstantin Kröger, the owner of a long-established bicycle store in Eimsbüttel, is found strangled to death on the Isebek Canal. It smells of a relationship, as no one is mourning the smart guy. In retrospect, it gradually emerges that he had a lot on his mind. The investigation focuses on his brother, his current partner, his ex, who has turned to a woman, a stalker and the store's long-time mechanic, who is almost family. Lydia von Livonius and Bodo Beckmann investigate.

MARIT WILDT: CLAWS IN THE ROSE PENCIL

This crime novel is set in a retirement home in Baden-Baden. The main character is the committed facility manager Lona Frey, who campaigns against illegal machinations that harm the elderly. Lona Frey is worn down by her superior using methods of psychological terror and experiences bullying at all levels of escalation. Was the boss's death an act of murderous revenge? Inspector Aline Sander investigates.
