Narrative theater play from the sewing box and the Brothers Grimm's treasure trove of fairy tales
For everyone from 4 - 92 years
Who doesn't know the fairy tale of Sleeping Beauty, who stings herself on a spindle and falls into a 100-year sleep, taking the whole kingdom with her?
Grandma's sewing box becomes a castle and the compartments of the box become a stage - spools of thread and balls of wool become actors and scissors become thorns. Needle and thread are used to tell the story of what fear and anger can do and - while the hedge of thorns grows - the question is pondered: What if the king had generously and far-sightedly invited all the wise women?
