Dortmund unplugged - Auswärtsspiel in der Pauluskirche

Dortmund unplugged leaves its usual home at Lange August - and finds a home in the Pauluskirche for the third time. On Saturday, October 25, the special atmosphere in the heart of Nordstadt will be the stage for six acts, each of whom will show for 15 minutes how versatile and lively music from the Ruhr region sounds.

Among them are:

DAS GROßE LOS you can hear a mixed model of the Beatles and the Hamburg School quite well. The singing is more international than straight German. Because it's cool. And in a fresh and independent way. It has rarity value, remains catchy and develops an extraordinary power live.

The singer-songwriter duo DENMARK is a new project by the two musicians Mark Vetter and Dennis Goschkowski. After years together in two alternative rock bands, they are now focusing on intimate sounds and honest songs. Where the musical journey will take them remains exciting and open.

The band GALENHAUS make partly quiet-melancholic, partly dissonant-scraping, German-language indie stuff, which they describe - to avoid embarrassing self-descriptions - as post-Hamburg school.

KESPER promise a mix of newly interpreted cover music and their own German-language songs. With her acoustic guitar, KESPER takes the audience on an evening full of rock, pop, oldies and newies - so there's something for everyone.

JONAS KÜNNE tells stories from his life, stories that move and carry you along, stories that need to be told. With his gentle and captivating voice, his emotional lyrics and his refined guitar playing, he never fails to inspire.

In addition, there will be a surprise act to kick off the "Dortmund for Diversity" concert series. The evening will be hosted by Boris Gott. The event is organized by Musiksyndikat Ruhr in cooperation with Nordmarkt Records and Pauluskirche & Kultur.
