Nordmarkt Records Festival at Langer August: two days of indie music straight from the district
On September 12 and 13, 2025, Nordmarkt Records invites all fans of handmade music to Langer August (Braunschweiger Str. 22, Dortmund). After 2023 - back then still in the now closed Hafenkombüse - the Nordmarkt Festival will take place there for the second time, bringing indie bands and singer-songwriters from Dortmund and the surrounding area to the stage.
It starts on Friday evening with intimate acoustic sets. The Café des Langen August opens its doors and shows how honest guitar sound should sound as part of "Dortmund Unplugged". Loud applause is expressly requested, as eldoradio* will also be on site to record not only the performances but also the artists' sound bites for its podcast.
On Saturday, there will be twice as much to listen to: Two stages, six acts; on the Unplugged Stage in the Langer August café and right next door in the KCR on the Band Stage. Nobody has to worry about missing a performance: The acts are timed so that everything can be taken in and there is enough time in between to organize another drink. The Saturday evening will be rounded off by DJ Kurt Maisfeld, who will provide the right sound between the acts.
