From November 3 to 9, 2025, the 24th edition of doxs! documentaries for children and young people will take place.
At the filmforum am Dellplatz in Duisburg, we will be showing 30 remarkable documentaries from 21 countries - stories about friendship and family, community, first adventures and growing up in an ever-changing world.
In addition to the film screenings, exciting special programs await you again this year: the Expanded program, the Duisburg Classic, the DocuMasterclass - and a special highlight for the youngest: the TAARTROVERS from the Netherlands will bring a lovingly designed installation for children of primary school and daycare age.
As always, we look forward to the discussions with our film guests and the presentation of the international festival awards:
A youth jury will award the GROSSE KLAPPE film prize, endowed with 5,000 euros.
In cooperation with the European Children's Film Association (ECFA), the ECFA Documentary Award will also be presented by an international jury of experts.
