DR. BRUMM KOMMT IN FAHRT

It really is jinxed. The usually jovial Dr. Brumm finally wants to set off because he has received a birthday invitation from his old pal Beaver. Of course the bear wants to get there as quickly as possible with his best friend, the goldfish Pottwal. After all - as he tells Pottwal - he and Beaver were unbeatable, unbelievable, inseparable! But Pottwal keeps coming up with new things that urgently need to be done before his departure: First, honey cookies have to be baked as provisions. The fish-and-bear-for-all-events bag still needs to be packed, because how could you possibly travel without a duckweed-green scaly hat, a seaweed biogas stove or a shatterproof spare goldfish bowl? And blimey, they don't even have a birthday present! According to the sperm whale, Dr. Brumm looks very pale and is sure to fall ill. So it would definitely be better to cancel the whole thing. Dr. Brumm no longer understands the world. Why doesn't his best friend want to meet the magnificent beaver?
