Dr. Ring Ding has been active worldwide as a versatile singer and instrumentalist since 1987 and can rightly be described as one of the main driving forces behind reggae in Germany.
An entertainer in the truest sense of the word, he is stylistically at home in the entire spectrum of Jamaican music.
Tireless touring worldwide has made him a permanent and indispensable part of the international reggae, dancehall and ska scene.
Traditional old school grooves, current computerized beats or even pop songs - the German veteran of Jamaican music demonstrates his talent both on his recordings and live on stage. At his shows, Dr. Ring Ding is accompanied either by renowned backing bands or, more traditionally, by sound systems.
