"Dreamers" provides a complex and rare glimpse into the inner workings of a deportation center - and juxtaposes it with the rebellious courage of the inmates.

After living illegally in the UK for two years, Isio is sent to the Hatchworth deportation center. She hopes that her asylum application will be approved quickly and that she can resume her old life. Her roommate Farah has less faith in the system and is already forging an escape plan with her friends. Time passes and the two women find each other in the chaos of the center. A small piece of happiness grows, hope germinates. But then Farah's asylum application is rejected.
