Dresdner Jugendsinfonieorchester im Konzert mit ukrainischen Schülern

Experience a concert evening of encounters and music: On October 29, 2025 at 7:00 pm, the Kreuzkirche in Dresden invites you to a very special benefit concert. Under the title "Oi y gayu pri dunaju cоловей щебече" - Oh how Mr. Nightingale sings in the grove on the Danube - Ukrainian and Saxon sounds unite to create an unforgettable song recital for voices and orchestra.

At the center of this unique concert is the Dresden Youth Symphony Orchestra in its new formation, which performs together with students from the music school in the Ukrainian city of Brody. The musical program builds bridges between cultures. It begins with the overture "Даруй нам мир" by Milko Kersten, which blends Slavic tones with Central German harmonies to create a unique symbiosis.
