30 years ago, in May 1995 to be precise, Dr. Ring Ding released the album DANDIMITE! with his Senior Allstars.

Little did they know at the time that it would become a milestone in the global ska scene, but that's what happened - it hit like a bomb! It is now considered one of the most important releases of the new wave of traditional ska in recent decades.

In honor of this anniversary, Dr. Ring Ding has decided to celebrate the birthday of this album and has put together a seven-piece line-up consisting of his long-time companions as well as some young talents from different countries.

In their show, the band presents all the tracks from DANDIMITE! as well as some of the Doctor's other ska classics - with a powerful rhythm section and snappy horns.

Dr. Ring Ding is a remarkably prolific and versatile singer/instrumentalist who has been touring the world since 1987. He is undoubtedly considered one of the driving forces of reggae and ska in Germany. An entertainer in the truest sense of the word, he is stylistically at home across the entire spectrum of Jamaican music. He sings in English, Patois, German and French. Tireless touring through Europe, North and South America as well as Africa and Asia has secured him a permanent role as an indispensable player in the international reggae, dancehall and ska scene. Numerous albums and countless singles as well as guest appearances with other bands from a wide range of genres have cemented his reputation as a versatile performer, musician, arranger and producer.
