Earl Sweatshirt is known in the US hip-hop scene as a member of the hip-hop collective Odd Future as well as for his own sound as a producer and rapper. With jazzy instrumentals, twisted beats and his versatile and melodic rap style, the rapper from Chicago creates a creative and versatile sound that has been a hit right from the start. With his debut album "Doris" and the albums "I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside" (2017) and "Some Rap Songs" (2018), Earl Sweatshirt reached the top 20 of the Billboard 200 and established hits such as "Chum", "Sunday" feat. Frank Ocean and "Hive" feat. Vince Staples & Casey Veggies, as well as "Riot!" in the contemporary hip-hop game.

After three successful concerts in September 2024, Earl Sweatshirt will return to Europe in spring 2026 on his 3LWorldTour and play in Germany in Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt and Cologne. Also in the bag: his new album "Live Laugh Love", which was released in August.

Thebe Kgositsile grew up in Chicago, Illinois and initially began releasing music under the name Sly Tendencies. After Tyler, The Creator became aware of him, Kgositsile joined Odd Future. In 2010, he finally released his debut mixtape "Earl" under his new artist name Earl Sweatshirt and quickly drew attention to his solo project through Odd Future and a collaboration with Frank Ocean. After signing with Columbia, Earl Swe atshirt celebrated his first hit with the song "Chum"in 2012 and followed this up with his debut album "Doris " in 2013, which heralded his final breakthrough and catapulted him into the top 5 of the Billboard charts. He continued to develop his music and popularity with the albums "I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside" (2017), "Some Rap Songs" (2018), the EP "Feet Of Clay" and the album "Sick!" (both 2020) continued steadily. In 2023, "VOIR DIRE" was released as a collabo album with producer and DJ The Alchemist and revealed influences between funk, disco pop, lo-fi hip-hop and modern R&B. Without even releasing or hinting at a single, the new album "Live Laugh Love" surprisingly followed at the end of August 2025. On eleven tracks, Earl Sweatshirt presents his typically versatile rap style with jazzy and psychedelic instrumentals, complex beats and atmospheric gospel vibes.
