The exhibition ECHO FROM THE INNER WORLD shows works by two artists who deal with the contradictions of life in different ways. Their pictures reflect fear, vulnerability and compassion as well as the search for inner balance.

Art becomes a process, a confrontation with the human condition, an introspection and processing - a dance between expression and insight, between pain and creation. The creative process serves the personal path, is a search for meaning and for the connection between what happens outside and what responds within us - an ECHO FROM THE INNER WORLD.

VERONIKA WENDEBOURG condenses existential suffering in her expressive, larger-than-life portraits - reflections of the inner world become inescapably palpable. It is about us who hear about suffering and those who experience it for real. The result is "vehement resonance spaces of compassionate humanity".

HANNAH FIAND: In process... I am in process, with questions, longings, emotional layers, developmental tasks and questions of self-discovery. An expression has something transformative. Raising your voice, pouring out your heart, giving shape to your condition, making the hidden visible, bringing the agonizing to the outside, sharing your dreams, touching each other - that moves something. I am HANNAH. I collect questions, signposts and insights and move them with glue, paint and paper.
