Ella Carina Werner, co-editor of "Titanic" and one of Germany's best-known satirists, reads from her book "Der Hahn erläutert unentwegt der Henne, wie man Eier legt" - a book of poems that is as sharp-witted as it is hilarious, serving up feminist themes in animal rhyme form. After all, where else do so many potential conflicts, contradictions and misunderstandings come together?

In a world where the rooster always knows how to do things better, Werner shows with a sharp pen and a lot of wit how absurd role models, beauty norms and gender clichés can be - and this in a literary genre that was previously almost exclusively male: the animal poem. The poems are colorfully illustrated, short, crisp and above all: very funny.
