On this special city tour to mark the 200th anniversary of Joseph von Fraunhofer's death, you will discover Munich in a different way: lively, exciting and told from the heart of history.

The actor Andreas Bräu slips into historical clothing and becomes Fraunhofer himself. He takes you on his journey: from a poor apprentice to one of the most important scientists of his time. He doesn't tell the story dryly from the textbook, but as if everything were happening right before your eyes.
He is supported by another guide who tells you exciting stories about Munich and the Old Town and shows you how closely Fraunhofer was connected to the city.
The tour starts at Odeonsplatz. From there, the tour takes you to real locations from Fraunhofer's life and makes history tangible, surprising and entertaining.
