"Ein Nest für Menschen" – Mitmach-Kunstaktion bringt Natur auf den Ella-Lingens-Platz

As part of the BioDivHubs - Biodiversity in the Neighborhood project, a special hands-on project is being created on Ella-Lingens-Platz: "The Nest". The participatory education and art project by Green City e. V. in collaboration with artist Katharina Schweissguth combines nature, creativity and community.

An organic structure grows step by step from natural materials such as branches, twigs and moss - inspired by the nest building of birds. Without a fixed construction plan, a place is created that invites people to sit, linger, play and exchange ideas and offers space for several people.

Take part now: All interested parties are cordially invited to actively participate in the construction or simply watch the nest being built. Every helping hand counts - together we are creating a lively place in the middle of the neighborhood.

The official opening of the finished nest will take place on April 22. The nest will remain in the public space until May 20, bringing a piece of nature to the square - a meeting place for the neighborhood and a visible sign of biodiversity, community and creative action.
