A tour against electronic waste

Recycling center - 12.11.2025 & 19.11.2025

Discover our route for recyclable materials: from the reception at the gate, the tour continues through the battery warehouse, the external warehouse, the dismantling hall, the information electronics workshop and the electrical repair workshops.
You will get to know the quantities and variety of electrical appliances at close quarters. In the dismantling area, we show you which components are contained in appliances and how components containing harmful substances and recyclable materials can be cleanly separated and transferred to new uses. Find out how electrical appliances are repaired and how their components are reused in a circular way.

As a primary treatment facility in accordance with the ElektroG, the recycling center makes a sustainable contribution to saving resources.

GWR, gemeinnützige Gesellschaft für Wiederverwendung und Recycling mbH, operates the Frankfurt recycling center and the second-hand department store Neufundland. These two businesses complement each other perfectly in terms of waste avoidance and reuse.
