FOR THE LAST TIME!

Hermia, who loves Lysander, is to marry Demetrius; at least that is her father's wish. If she refuses, she is threatened with death under Athenian law. The lovers flee from this terrifying scenario into the forest - the magical kingdom of the fairies. They are pursued by Demetrius and Helena, who loves him but not her. The
busy goblin Puck gets things moving: Potions flow, partners change and suddenly a new realm of possibilities opens up. A group of craftspeople who are determined to put on a theater performance the likes of which the world has never seen before are also looking for it.

Director Christina Tscharyiski stages Shakespeare's comedy about the trials and tribulations of love in the realm of elves and humans by conjuring up the (nightmarish) dreamlike potential of the theater.
