by Sibylle Berg
An engineer reflects on the challenges of modern existence - on waking up every day in a society in which even the sky belongs to Google and armed conflicts are the order of the day. However, as long as they don't affect your own neighborhood, your own city or even your own country, they disappear from your flickering attention after two days. And let's be honest: if you don't even know the flags of the countries concerned so that you can post them in solidarity, it can't be that bad? Between horror and humor, Sibylle Berg, one of the best-known writers and playwrights in the German-speaking world, explores the seemingly dystopian abysses of our present day. This engineer is played by actress Katja Riemann, a long-time artistic companion of author Sibylle Berg, who has already appeared in her successful play "Und sicher ist mit mir die Welt verschwunden" at Berlin's Gorki Theater. Sibylle Berg herself is also part of the production with her voice.
