A summer night

A successful divorce lawyer, Helena, who is stood up by her married lover for the umpteenth time and finds herself alone in a bar with a bottle of wine, meets Bob, a low-profile petty criminal waiting for his next assignment. They're both 35, and it looks like life and this night don't hold much more for them - so they throw themselves into a drunken one-night stand. That could be the end of the story between Helena and Bob if they didn't bump into each other again the next day. Helena is standing on the steps of a church in her bridesmaid's dress when Bob walks past her with 15,000 pounds of stolen goods in his pocket that he couldn't get to the bank with in time. An afternoon together turns into a long, weird and magical midsummer night in which they blow the entire 15,000 pounds, drink gallons of alcohol, spill it, distribute it and come to esoteric conclusions in a bondage club.
