The famous Christmas story, which has also been made into a movie, is about the hard-hearted Ebenezer Scrooge, who detests Christmas. On Christmas Eve, he is visited by three ghosts who show him his past, present and possible future. This leads to a profound transformation in Scrooge, who ultimately reveals himself to be a kind, generous and compassionate man. Cathlen Gawlich's live reading is a brilliant firework display.
