The festival returns!

In the middle of Hamburg harbor, surrounded by water, shipping containers and imposing cranes, ELBJAZZ offers one of the most spectacular festival backdrops in Europe.
For two summer days, the Hanseatic city is transformed into a vibrant venue where music, industrial charm and maritime flair come together in a unique way. On the Blohm+Voss shipyard site, visitors can experience the concentrated diversity of jazz and all its varieties on several stages. When the seagulls circle and a ship's signal sounds from afar, it's pure Hamburg magic.

An exciting 2026 line-up promises unforgettable concert moments:

Tom Jones (GB), one of the greatest singers of all time, will be performing on the main stage this year. His legendary voice effortlessly transcends eras and genres, and the career of this global star spans more than six decades. Jamie Cullum (GB) stands for stylistic openness and musical curiosity, the exceptional artist combines jazz virtuosity with pop sensibility like no other. The five-time Grammy award-winning Snarky Puppy (USA) make jazz dance. Soul voice Greentea Peng (GB) inspires with psychedelic grooves, José James & China Moses (USA) reinterpret Marvin Gaye's masterpiece "I Want You".

Grammy award-winning guitarist and singer Christone "Kingfish" Ingram (USA) will delight audiences with his powerful playing, which blends tradition and modernity. Lizz Wright (USA) is one of the most important voices in contemporary jazz. Saxophonist Nubya Garcia (GB) combines jazz, classical music, R&B and dubstep. The NDR Bigband (DE) celebrates the 100th birthday of Miles Davis with John Beasley (USA).

Herbert & Momoko (GB) create experimental soundscapes, while The Bad Plus (USA) combine avant-garde jazz with rock and pop. Dominique Fils-Aimé (CAN) is one of the leading vocal jazz greats, while trumpeter and composer daoud (FR/MAR) uses hip hop, R'n'B and electronic music to uncompromisingly - and danceably - break the rules of jazz. Multi-instrumentalist Jowee Omicil (CAN) presents his personal sound universe. Behind In Cahoots feat. Ingrid Laubrock (DE) is composer and woodwind instrumentalist Frank Gratkowski and his band, which will be congenially expanded by saxophonist Ingrid Laubrock.

NEW: For the first time, the festival combination ticket can also be booked with a grandstand seat (limited) on the main stage.

ELBPHILHARMONIE SPECIALS
These exclusive individual concerts take place on both days of the festival and promise musical highlights in a class of their own in the Great Hall of Hamburg's famous landmark. In addition to the British soul icon Joss Stone (GB), who can be experienced live there on July 10 with support from Don West (AUS), the second ELBJAZZ "Elbphilharmonie Special" with the composer, pianist and word acrobat Chilly Gonzales (CAN) will follow on July 11.
