"Jamkraut" is the term mars mushrooms use to describe their unusual music. Because "Jamrock" or "Post-Krautrock" doesn't quite describe it. The genre name links the music to the band's origins: jam-heavy rock and Franconian sauerkraut. The mars mushrooms are constantly reinventing themselves at their gigs when they rock the stage with their improvisational music and archaic didgeridoo sounds. Absolutely danceable and tried and tested over 25 years.

Spontaneity is also an integral part of Pelagic Zone from Hamburg. In over a decade and a half of existence, the four musicians have become so well attuned to each other that even spontaneous improvisations sound like prepared pieces. This is particularly evident live: every performance is a journey in which band and audience come together in the energy of the moment.

Marslagic Shroomzone is the joint project of the two bands, who are now very good friends due to their musical proximity and regularly perform live together.
