Baroque string instruments meet analog synthesizers, marimba, percussion and electric violin.

Melodies and basses unfold on recurring "grounds": baroque ideas, electronic textures, rousing rhythms. An evening in which the familiar becomes new and the strange becomes familiar. Come and let yourself be carried away. Live and immediate.

Percussionist and composer Sebastian Grunewald combines the worlds of percussion, ambient, techno, electronics and baroque music to create an intense sound space.

Analogous to baroque "Grounds", recurring foundations of musical patterns form the conceptual center of the program: both existing and newly composed musical fragments build on these "Grounds". Baroque motifs by William Byrd and Giacomo Carissimi, among others, serve as inspirational material.

An atmospheric lighting design adds a visual layer to the concert.
