Elliott Dance Collective – »Unwritten Minutes«

In the organizer's words:

Choreographic journey through the multi-layered textures of time

This dance piece embarks on a journey through the multi-layered textures of time - its heaviness and lightness, its stillness and its pulsation. Through movement, it explores what it means to return - not to a specific place, but to a feeling, a memory or a deeper part of the self.

The choreography unfolds between structure and surrender, reflecting the silent tension between discipline and freedom. Time is experienced through the body: stretched, condensed, remembered and reshaped.

Themes such as ageing, pausing in the moment and returning home are interwoven with the emotional field of remembering and forgetting. In the interstices of movement and pause, of holding on and letting go, a silent tribute is paid to transience - and to the small, often overlooked moments that shape us.

Simone Elliott founded the Elliott Dance Collective in 2022. Since then, the dancer has been working with changing partners within this framework, allowing for new styles and creations thanks to the open structures. The very first production in 2022, "I forgot to remember", was extremely successful and delighted the audience.

The Elliott Dance Collective is supported by the City of Regensburg and the Regensburg Cultural Foundation of REWAG.
