From the rehearsal room to the main stage

The Emergenza Festival was founded in 1992, making it one of the oldest and most prestigious music contests in the world.

The festival takes place in many locations around the world (Japan, France, Scandinavia, Germany, etc.), with the winners of the ten national finals then meeting at the grand world final at the Taubertal Festival in Rothenburg o.d.T. (Germany).

Throughout the qualifying rounds, participants will enjoy first-class conditions: The best clubs in the region, high-quality technical equipment, professional support and organization as well as an interested audience who, together with the expert jury, will each send the best to the next round.

The winning bands from the Hamburg, Munich and Cologne/Frankfurt finals will perform with the best bands in Berlin at the German final in Berlin's SO36.

The German finalists will have the opportunity to perform in front of representatives from record companies, booking agents and promoters. This jury will then select the winning band that will represent Germany at the world final at the Taubertal Festival. The world winning band will then perform on the main stage and win a studio production in Heavy Soul Studio (I) or a tour support.
