Cyclists do not need to use the main roads to get from A to B in Aachen.

The Mobility and Transport Department of the City of Aachen is offering a number of events as part of this year's VHS program. On this bike tour, you can discover the city's cycle paths.

Summer weather and warm temperatures are perfect for cycling. More and more people in Aachen are using their bikes to get around. The city's "FahrRad in Aachen" campaign is therefore launching various cycle tours this summer. The tour "On slow lanes through Aachen II" is 7.6 kilometers long. The "Schleichwege" tours show quiet routes away from the main roads - particularly important for insecure cyclists who do not yet feel safe in Aachen. There are many routes that can be taken away from the busy roads. In many cases, inclines can also be avoided. The bike tours are free of charge.
