Workshop for female socialized and/or identified persons who are socio-politically active in Bremen, Hamburg or Schleswig-Holstein. Please indicate your commitment when registering. Please use the "Notes" field for this purpose.

There is no simple "this is how you do it" in rhetoric to be really convincing, instead the training supports each* individual to find their form of expression and to use their strengths.
In this empowerment workshop we will answer the following questions through physical exercises, role play and free argumentation training:

- How can I empower myself by connecting my inner and outer stance, clearly embodying to the outside world what is important to me and what I am willing to stand up for and fight for?
- How can I react when my counterpart or the audience tries to throw me off balance with critical looks, disinterest, interposed questions, etc.?
- What values are essential for me and what does this mean for my rhetoric?
- What gives me strength?
- How do I convince others?

The training offers a supportive, constructive and supportive space in which everyone can try things out, regardless of whether they have a lot or little (political) speaking experience. Mutual encouragement, exchange and fun practicing together are the main focus!
Workshop leader:
Julia Lemmle, she/you - accompanying change - is a communication trainer, systemic coach and performer. She studied history and literature and developed the 'Rhetoric-Empowerment-Training for WomenLesbiansInterNon-BinaryTransAgender (FLINTA)' in 2010. She combines power-critical analysis with coaching tools and bodywork to support people in (re)connecting with their own values and taking a clear stand for them and themselves. She teaches at various universities, works for foundations and NGOs and is co-founder of the "House of Change" project in Brandenburg.
