ERIC FISH has been indulging his passion for acoustic songwriting for 25 years now. With various musical accompanists, he has produced 8 albums and a movie. Despite all the developments, one thing has always remained the same: curiosity about the turmoil of life and its manifestations in people's hearts and minds. This curiosity has resulted in well over 100 songs.
AUF DEN GRUND is a retrospective of the early years of ERIC FISH & FRIENDS to mark the anniversary. 14 songs, re-recorded and now with a modern sound featuring bass and drums.
It is not surprising that these older songs seem untouched by the ravages of time. Their content goes beyond the contemplation of a single moment and always culminates in a message that brings a quiet, hopeful smile to the listener's face.
