Essen Light Festival 2025

In the organizer's words:

Happy birthday, Essen Light Festival! - From October 2 to 12, 2025, the second largest light art festival in Germany will be 10 years old. What once started small and experimental in the northern city center will amaze you at the anniversary edition with 17 impressive light shows, installations and video mappings throughout the city.

There will also be a birthday reunion with the most popular installations of recent years.

19:30: Official opening on Kennedyplatz with MOGUAI!

Kennedyplatz will become a gigantic open air club on 02.10.! Together we celebrate the 10th birthday of the Essen Light Festival with the international star DJ MOGUAI! With fat house sounds and an epic, music-synchronized light show, we will make the Kennedyplatz shake! Be there at 19:30! Good vibes only!

from 10 pm: Official aftershow party in the TRUDI with DJ Salvatore Mancuso & special guest MOGUAI

Party people watch out: DJ Salvatore Mancuso will be at the start of the Essen Light Festival after-show party!
After the opening with MOGUAI from 7:30 pm on Kennedyplatz, it's straight on to the after-show party in the new creative cathedral TRUDI (Rottstraße 36, 45127 Essen) in Essen's city center.
