In a tent, on a gravel bike and on a 7,600 kilometer gravel trail across 14 European countries: Markus Weinberg, journalist and filmmaker, takes you on an extraordinary bikepacking trip away from the tourist hotspots - from Jakobselv in northern Norway with its moose to Cabo St. Vincent in Portugal and its snails.

In late summer, he crosses cultural, political, economic and ecological borders and immerses himself in a great adventure full of stories and encounters.

As usual, in big pictures: authentic, close-up, captivating and thrilling. Under the motto "Experience what moves Europe", a cross-media portrait of the route and its people is created - a kaleidoscope of the European idea, its history, its nature and the great freedom that we can enjoy on our bikes: European Connection
