The performance "This resting, patience" thematizes attraction, voluntary objectification, proximity and an aesthetic of revelation - simultaneously as a ghostly archive of unused sensuality, installative fadeout and somatic (strip) tease. In an experimental format, the piece subverts the passivity of the installation as well as the temporal structuring and dramatic resolution of the performance. It breaks away from the tradition of viewing dance as an alienated spectacle and instead emphasizes its intrinsic sociability.

In its devotion to the body, "This resting, patience" shows sensuality and dance as timeless technologies accessible to all - as ways of dissolving the world and gently transforming the present into an enduring future: utterly tender, doting and caring.
