Extrawelt LIVE in Concert

here are few musical acts that are particularly moving and stay with you for the rest of your life. Music that shares wonderful experiences and always gives you goosebumps. Extrawelt, consisting of Arne Schaffhausen and Wayan Raabe, are definitely one of them for us. So we are all the more pleased that the two of them are coming to Rostock to Helgas and are guaranteed to give us another unforgettable evening.

Both have been involved in electronic music since the early nineties and their experiences from the wild pioneering days of techno are still shaping their music. So when asked which of today's diverse styles is theirs, the answer is a shrug of the shoulders. The breakthrough for Extrawelt came in 2005, when James Holden released the first Extrawelt single on his label Border Community, setting off a wave of unparalleled success. Sven Väth, Godfather of Techno, signed the two in 2006, paving the way for them to enter the top league of electronic live acts. Countless records and remixes sold as well as countless live performances in the world's hottest clubs, from New York and Berlin to Okinawa, Rio and Moscow, speak an unmistakable language: Extrawelt reach the audience despite, or perhaps because of, their stubbornness.

It doesn't matter whether they are performing in a small club in Rostock or at a festival in the middle of Tokyo with over 60,000 spectators - Extrawelt inspire their fans and do so exclusively through their music.
