#Falschgeld are young, come from Munich and play dirty indie pop rock with German lyrics somewhere between TonSteineScherben, Wanda and the early Strokes.

The four childhood friends deliver with a punk attitude and a powerful sound, accompanied by smart, profound lyrics from frontman Jona Volkmann (known from the movies, most recently in "Der Spitzname").

Following their acclaimed debut "Menschen wie wir" (produced by Nick McCarthy from Franz Ferdinand), they are now working on their second album "Flügge werden" with producer legend Moses Schneider (Beatsteaks, K.I.Z., among others).

It's about growing up in a world in upheaval - zeitgeist meets snotty charm, honest sound and lots of energy. #AllgediegenstenHalbstarkenKrawallo!
